ABOUT US

NN8 Cabs is a Wellingborough based Taxi Service founded in 2021. We have acquired our private hire taxi licence from North Northamptonshire Council. We are proud to announce that we are members of the Northamptonshire Highways Transport Framework, who rely on us to carry out daily transportation for both vulnerable children and adults.

We take great responsibility in choosing the best Drivers and Passenger Assistants, to ensure we are able to meet the individual needs of our clients. We understand all our clients are unique and will be treated with the upmost respect and dignity while providing a service of the highest standard.

DRIVERS

All drivers that work with us hold a valid Taxi Licence authorised and regulated by North Northamptonshire Council and West Northamptonshire Council.

All Drivers have gone through an Enhanced level DBS Check, also known as Disclosure and Barring Service Check. Enhanced DBS are the highest levels available and are generally required for positions that involve working with vulnerable groups, such as children and the elderly.

Drivers are required to have a medical assessment to ensure that they are fit to work.

PASSENGER ASSISTANT

All Passenger Assistants need to pass a PATS test (Passenger Assistant Training Scheme). This includes both knowledge and practical tests to ensure that they have the correct knowledge and skills to support the individual needs of our clients. 

All Passenger Assistants are required to have an Enhanced level DBS Check, in order to safely work with vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly.
